History
The history of our foundation is a remarkable story of God's grace working in ordinary women.
In 1854 a young Frenchwoman, Victoire Larmenier, founded the Congregation of the Poor Sisters of Nazareth in London, at the request of Cardinal Wiseman, to care for the aged poor and later for homeless and abandoned children.
